Train While Away

In-Home “Train While Away”

This is one of the most innovative and exciting dog training programs offered in the North County San Diego area! We serve Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, Encinitas, San Marcos, Escondido, Fallbrook, Bonsall, Temecula, Rancho Bernardo, 4S Ranch, Black Mountain Ranch, Carmel Mountain, Rancho Penasquitos, Mira Mesa, and Poway.

Would you like a well-trained dog, but are struggling to find time to train? Enjoy a well-behaved, obedient, and balanced puppy or adult dog without having to attend classes or do all the work yourself. Our innovative In- Home “Train While Away” program is the perfect option for people who work full time or have very busy schedules and need help kick starting their dog’s training. We come to your home and train your dog during the day while you are at work.

Each program is unique and can be customized to your dog’s individual needs. Training may include core obedience skills, such as leash walking, sit, down, stay/wait, come, and attention training. We can even modify unwanted behaviors and teach your dog how to behave nicely in your home!

We offer a variety of programs to suit your needs and training objectives.  Please see below for full descriptions. All programs include an introductory consultation so that we can meet you and your dog, and find out specifically what you want us to focus on during our training sessions. We train your dog during the week, and at the end of each week, we meet with you to demonstrate your dog’s new skills, and transfer the training to you.

Please note: Full payment is required at the time of the first meeting. Clients who have had private sessions with us do not require the introductory consultation.

We offer five separate programs, all with their own unique focus:
  1. Loose Leash Walking
  2. Leash Reactive Rover
  3. Basic Obedience and Home Manners
  4. Puppy Preschool
  5. In-Home Tutor

Loose Leash Dog Walking Program                 $395
Program Focus:

The focus of this program is to teach your dog how to walk nicely on leash without pulling, which translates into a pleasant and enjoyable walk for both of you. No more pitting your strength against your dog! You will finally have the control you need.

In addition, your dog will learn how to remain by your side (and only one side of you), which makes taking him on a walk a safer experience for both of you. He will also learn to pay better attention to you in the presence of distractions, and to wait politely for your cue when exiting the home or crossing streets.

Please Note: The program is not designed for dogs that are aggressive or reactive on leash. For leash reactive dogs, please see our “Leash Reactive Rover Option”
